The plant in Olšany, today’s OP papírna, s.r.o., is situated in the beautiful foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains in North Moravia. The Czech mill with three paper machines has a long history of meeting the customers’ needs with tailor-made solutions. The company, founded already in 1861, was completely restructured during the 1990s and has invested in the latest R&D facilities to continually improve know-how.
Today OP papírna, s.r.o. represents a unique harmony of more than 140 years cigarette paper production tradition, top technology, latest production processes and co-operation with international tobacco companies. OP papírna, s.r.o. is a key international player as a supplier to the global tobacco industry, particularly since 1997, when it became a member of a multinational group of companies, currently known as the delfortgroup.
